SCOPE OF WORKS

We delivered the supply and installation of structural steelwork to support a new state-of-the-art pharmacy automation system within the Pharmacy Department at the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport. The scope included fabrication drawings and connection designs, manufacture of steelwork to tight tolerances, protective coatings to meet NHS durability and hygiene requirements, and installation within constrained existing structures.

All works were delivered in full compliance with current health and safety legislation and best practice. Comprehensive risk assessments, method statements, and site management procedures were implemented throughout. Where required, infection control measures were maintained to ensure the safety of operatives, stakeholders, and the wider community.

The refurbishment delivered a modern, safe, and efficient facility that enhances usability and accessibility. The improved environment supports the needs of the local community, providing a revitalised space that promotes long-term functionality, wellbeing, and community engagement.
