Starbucks Bristol

22/06/2026

SCOPE OF WORKS

The project involved the full internal fit-out of a new Starbucks unit at Filton Bristol, delivered within a fast-track, six-week programme. Located beneath an active airspace office block, the project required meticulous management to overcome strict noise limitations and restricted working hours. Despite these constraints, the project was completed on time and within budget, delivering a high-quality, fully branded commercial interior.

Core Scope of Works

Flooring: Installation of ceramic and safety flooring for high-traffic and back-of-house areas.

Partitioning: Dry lining and partitioning to form operational and customer zones.

Ceilings & Walls: Feature installations compliant with Starbucks brand standards.

Finishes: Final decoration, branding, and artwork installation.

Joinery & Fixtures: Delivery of bespoke joinery, casework, seating, and upholstery.

Challenging Environment & Constraints

Live Airspace Constraints: Working directly below operational offices required strict adherence to restricted working hours.

Acoustic Management: Implemented rigorous noise restrictions to prevent disruption to the office tenants above.

Logistical Coordination: Developed detailed planning, sequencing, and coordination to manage multiple specialist trades within a condensed timeline and restricted windows.

Delivery, Quality & Compliance

All works were carried out in strict compliance with health and safety legislation. Robust quality control measures ensured all finishes met Starbucks’ operational and national design requirements. Close collaboration with JSP, building landlords, and other contractors ensured safe, efficient delivery without compromising standards, while supporting local employment and community use.
